About the role

Responsibilities
- Define the vision, roadmap, and core abstractions for Distyl’s AI platform
- Decide what gets built into the platform vs. solved at the edge with customers
- Translate repeated enterprise patterns into scalable, reusable systems
- Partner deeply with engineering and forward-deployed teams to ship production-grade AI quickly
- Lead the development and prioritization of core platform capabilities, including:
- Agent frameworks and orchestration systems
- Model evaluation, monitoring, and feedback loops
- Self-improving systems and human-in-the-loop workflows
- Developer tooling, workflows, and internal DX
- Enterprise data integrations and system interoperability
Requirements
- 10+ years in product, with deep experience in platform, infrastructure, or technical systems
- Have built or scaled AI/ML platforms, LLM systems, or developer-facing products
- Strong technical fluency, you can reason about architecture, tradeoffs, and system design with engineers
- Clear point of view on how AI-native systems should be designed and evolve
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high ownership and minimal structure
- Able to translate complex, real-world problems into clean abstractions
