About the role
- Backend Developer using Java Spring Boot for digital business transformation at Diconium. Developing scalable microservices and optimizing backend performance in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and secure backend microservices using Java Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks in Azure Cloud.
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with various applications and platforms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to ensure efficient, agile delivery.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with event-driven architectures, using tools like Kafka or other messaging solutions.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of backend services.
- Contribute to high-availability and low-latency software architecture design and implementation.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and data engineers to ensure stable and efficient integrations.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience as a Backend Developer, specializing in Java Spring Boot or similar Java Frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure Cloud services (Storage, Security, Networking, Deployment, VMs, etc.).
- Experience with Microservice Architectures and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with stream processing technologies (Kafka, Spark, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Understanding of security best practices in backend applications.
- Nice to have: Experience with Go (Golang) and/or Kotlin Python.
