Senior UX Manager driving user experience strategy in Brazil for Decolar, a top travel technology leader. Leading a cross-functional team and executing innovative UX initiatives.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the UX strategy for Brazil, Decolar’s fastest-growing market and the epicenter of innovation and experimentation.
Serve as the UX reference for the territory, leading creative and disruptive initiatives that later scale to other markets.
Collaborate with local stakeholders (Product, Commercial, Tech, Marketing) to align the design vision with business objectives.
Lead the user experience for the post-sales product, ensuring travelers have a smooth, clear, and efficient experience at every stage of their journey.
Manage the design of tools for post-sales operations, optimizing internal and external processes that directly impact customer satisfaction.
Implement user-centered solutions that reduce friction, improve operational efficiency, and create value for both customers and the business.
Lead the strategy and execution of Design Ops, optimizing processes, tools, and workflows to manage and evolve the Design System, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in the product experience at a regional level.
Implement continuous improvements in the way design teams work, breaking down barriers and driving structural change.
Lead a team of 15 people (direct and indirect reports) distributed between Buenos Aires and São Paulo, including designers and content specialists, Design Ops experts, and technical professionals.
Foster a culture of continuous feedback, collaboration, and ongoing learning.
Act as a mentor and guide for the team, driving their professional and technical growth.
Challenge and transform the way of working by questioning established processes and proposing innovative solutions.
Manage key stakeholders in Brazil and Argentina, aligning visions and achieving consensus in complex environments.
Make decisions based on data, iteration, and experimentation.
Requirements
Proven experience leading design teams in tech companies.
Technical executive level: you don't need to be a hands-on designer, but you must have a deep understanding of technical processes and design system management.
Previous experience in B2B, SaaS, digital platforms, or complex products is a plus.
Experience managing remote or geographically distributed teams (desirable).

Ability to structure robust and scalable technical processes.
Knowledge of the Brazilian market and/or experience working with regional LATAM teams.
