About the role
- Junior Data Science Analyst within Deloitte's AI&D team transforming data into actionable insights for clients. Collaborating with stakeholders to develop tailor-made solutions for business data requirements.
Responsibilities
- Join our Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) team which is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights for our clients.
- Work closely with our clients to understand and define their data-related business requirements.
- Act as interface between business and IT stakeholders to develop tailor-made data solutions.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to generate actionable insights that support key business decisions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and stakeholders (IT and Business) to improve data collection, transformation, storage, and data quality, following leading practices.
- Create clear documentation and artifacts for data quality rules, alerting, and monitoring, and actively contribute throughout the project life cycle.
- Help coordinate cross-functional teams while applying Deloitte methodology and program/project management standards to deliver complex projects.
Requirements
- Hold a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Information Technology and/or Business Administration.
- Bring solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a result-oriented mindset and strong interest in both business and IT topics.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units, performing effective business analysis and applying key data concepts (Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Science, Data Engineering).
- Communicate clearly with strong verbal and written skills, and fluency in English.
- Previous internship or experience in a data-related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java) and SQL.
- Good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with MS Project is an asset.
- Rigorous, autonomous, eager to learn, with strong team spirit and additional language skills in French, German, and/or Luxembourgish.
