About the role
- Compliance Officer ensuring Defence sector regulations and certifications for a leading tech firm. Engaging in audits, compliance reviews, and serving as a liaison with authorities.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of required certifications in the Defence sector
- Ensuring compliance with Defence regulations, export control, and cybersecurity
- Monitoring and interpreting national and international regulatory requirements
- Creating and maintaining audit and certification documentation
- Acting as an interface with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Export Control & Legal across the entire project lifecycle
- Primary point of contact for authorities and certification bodies
- Supporting risk analyses, compliance reviews, as well as training and awareness activities
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
- Experience in compliance and certifications (ideally in the Defence or Public Sector)
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. MIL-STD, ISO 9001, ISO 27001)
- Audit experience and experience working with authorities/inspection bodies
- Very structured working style with strong attention to detail
- Business-fluent German and English
