About the role
- AI Full Stack Engineer responsible for developing AI-powered applications and Generative AI solutions at DeepLight AI. Enhancing core banking processes and customer digital journeys through innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack, AI-powered web applications using microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Implement Generative AI engineering principles, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic workflows, into enterprise-grade digital platforms.
- Create modular, scalable architectures and establish documentation standards and reusable templates for AI projects.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, and governance frameworks to handle large, complex datasets.
- Manage containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, secure, and scalable deployments.
- Act as an 'analytics translator' between business units and IT, coordinating with UI/UX teams, Data Scientists, and AI Engineers to align technical builds with business growth.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, service standards, and procedural instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- Proficiency in back-end frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js) and front-end frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong grasp of GenAI engineering, LLM integration (Azure OpenAI), and RAG workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS ecosystems, including serverless deployments (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda) and cloud storage (S3, Blobs).
- Advanced coding skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Expert-level knowledge of Docker, container registries (ACR), and CI/CD automation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5+ years in professional software development.
- Proven track record in building scalable, secure web applications and integrating AI models within a cloud-native environment (Azure preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of banking operations, terminologies, and financial services products.
- The ability to analyse complex banking products and services to drive innovation and decision-making.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical/data requirements for non-technical internal stakeholders.
- The capacity to manage and motivate team members to contribute to change initiatives and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work effectively in an ad-hoc, fast-paced environment across different functional teams.
