About the role

Responsibilities

- Research and create proprietary indices that can be leveraged by financial services clients

- Implement anonymization and aggregation techniques to ensure products are compliant and non-identifiable
- Collaborate with external researchers/clients to refine product requirements and validate desired outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, math, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years in Data Science with a proven track record of transforming data from raw database tables into 'ready-for-sale' products
- Mastery of large-scale SQL data environments (e.g. Snowflake)
- Proficiency in Python with a focus on feature engineering, predictive modeling, and time-series analysis
- Deep understanding of financial markets, including experience with backtesting frameworks
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and deploying models within a CI/CD workflow
