About the role

Responsibilities
- Deployment and maintenance of systems within data centers and cloud environments for our clients
- Planning, design, and implementation of new IT solutions and environments for our clients
- Ensuring IT operations of data centers and services through monitoring, patch, vulnerability, and lifecycle management
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in IT processes and systems
- Technical support, further development, and operation of IT environments, both on-premises and in the cloud
- Administration of virtual server landscapes and operation of infrastructure, storage, and backup environments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker for Systemintegration) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, networking and firewall management, ideally in an IT services environment
- Strong experience with virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of storage solutions (Dell, HPE, Pure Storage, NetApp)
- Strong knowledge of backup solutions (Commvault, Veeam)
- Good knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure solutions and security architectures
- Familiarity with security standards (ISO 2700x, IT-Grundschutz)
