About the role
- Senior Security Consultant advising enterprise clients on IT security topics and secure architectures. Leading technical initiatives and contributing to digital transformation across varying industries.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on strategic security topics and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, GDPR)
- Design and implement customized security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Conduct risk analyses, audits, gap assessments, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Support the development and implementation of ISMS structures, policies, and procedures
- Lead security-related workstreams in digital transformation, mergers, carve-outs, and compliance projects
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, project management, engineering) in the pre-sales and delivery phases
- Act as a thought leader in the security space and contribute to knowledge sharing within Damovo
Requirements
- Fluent German, Polish, and strong English skills (spoken and written)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security consulting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2, DORA, and GDPR
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network and security architectures (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)
- Technical expertise in areas like network security, cloud security, NAC, vulnerability management, and SIEM/SOC integration
- Relevant certifications are a strong plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISA, CCSP, or vendor-specific certs from Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, etc.)
- Strong client-facing skills, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to drive projects to success.
