About the role
- Data Migration & Master Data Manager overseeing data migration activities for complex IT projects at Cypher Consulting Europe. Responsible for Master Data Management and ensuring data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an efficient and replicable data migration strategy and plan.
- Oversee data migration planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with various projects and central data management teams to define data migration requirements, mapping, and cleansing.
- Establish and maintain long-term Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities at rollout sites.
- Ensure adherence to data principles and guidelines in partnership with the data governance team.
- Manage data extraction processes from respective legacy systems.
- Support database extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure successful implementation.
- Track key metrics on migration progress across the project portfolio.
- Identify and address issues or risks affecting timeline and data integrity accuracy.
- Maintain oversight of data flows and dependencies to support delivery and change management.
- Support the development and maintenance of an enterprise's data dictionary.
- Collaboration on lead file management, masking strategies, reusable testable repositories.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading data migration activities for complex IT projects, particularly ERP implementations.
- Experience with Microsoft O365 projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of master data management, governance, validation techniques.
- Proficient in ETL processes.
