Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and support to the Intercompany team on local and regional projects.
- Ensuring proper application of intercompany accounting policies and processes.
- Supervising a team of accounting clerks, allocating work based on skills, availability, and development needs.
- Recommending process and procedural improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Accounting function.
- Coaching and mentoring team members, conducting performance assessments, and providing constructive feedback.
- Driving process improvement initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring accountability.
- Performing root cause analyses on complex accounting issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Promoting a culture of quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong Brazilian Tax knowledge.
- Proven experience managing regional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
