About the role
- Software Test Engineer improving quality and stability of web applications at a growing technology company. Responsible for planning and executing tests in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of manual and automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, system, and regression tests)
- Creation and maintenance of test cases, test plans, and test strategies
- Analysis, documentation, and tracking of defects in close collaboration with development teams
- Participation in agile processes (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Close collaboration with Development and IT Support (2nd / 3rd level)
- Continuous improvement of test coverage and reduction of bugs and support tickets
- Ensuring quality regarding functionality, performance, security, and usability
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automated)
- Native-level German skills (C2 or equivalent)
- Willingness to be regularly present on-site in Nuremberg (hybrid model, not fully remote)
- Experience with test automation as well as unit and integration testing
- Programming skills in JavaScript and/or C#
