Senior Product & Strategy Lead overseeing the Smaragd Compliance Suite for combating financial crime. Leading product strategy, stakeholder management, and innovation in compliance technology.
Responsibilities
Global responsibility for the strategic and functional development of the Smaragd Compliance Suite — our leading AI-driven platform for combating financial crime and meeting regulatory requirements.
Define and steer the global product strategy, including value proposition, market positioning, and alignment of the international product roadmap.
Act as the bridge between market, regulation, product vision and technology: derive strategic requirements and evaluate and prioritize new use cases, industries and segments (RegTech/AI/Compliance).
Translate market and regulatory insights into epics and capabilities together with Engineering; accountable for portfolio management and functional architecture.
Provide innovative leadership for components such as risk models, screening technologies and AI-based compliance features.
Establish and ensure functional governance, including traceability, quality standards and global frameworks.
Engage strategically with customers and regulators at the executive level and lead RFPs, workshops and product reviews.
Stakeholder and leadership responsibility towards Executive Leadership, Sales, Legal and Architecture, as well as technical leadership and mentoring of product managers, business analysts and subject-matter experts.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years' experience in product management, compliance or RegTech.
Strong expertise in AML, KYC, sanctions screening and payments.
Excellent understanding of operational compliance processes in banks (e.g., transaction monitoring, screening, CDD, reporting, alert handling).
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into a strategic product vision.
Strong market, competitive and innovation orientation.
Confident stakeholder management at the executive level.
Leadership skills and thought leadership in the discipline.
Excellent German and English language skills.
