About the role

• Senior Java Developer at GFT focusing on backend development in a hybrid work setup. Collaborating on Java projects and maintaining systems with Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Development of features;
• Maintenance of features/systems/databases;
• Routine monitoring;
• Follow-up and deployment of features on the appropriate pipelines (API, Liquibase, Maestro);
• Understanding and tracking user stories;
• Agile rituals (Daily, Replenishment, Reviews);
• Technical reporting on ongoing tasks;
• Task planning;
• Tracking and logging activities in Jira;
• Ensuring quality of deliveries;
• Ensuring quality in testing;

Requirements

• Experience developing with Java 11+;
• Knowledge of frameworks (Spring ecosystem: Boot, Data, Security, Batch, Integration, etc.; Hibernate; Camel);
• Integration with REST services;
• API management: Apigee, API Gateway;
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB);
• Experience creating and maintaining procedures, functions, triggers, and jobs;
• Experience with DML and DCL in relational databases;
• Knowledge of design patterns and architectural patterns;
• Monitoring: Dynatrace;
• Agile methodology;
• Collaborative tools: Jira, Confluence;
• Knowledge of DevSecOps: Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Fortify;
• Knowledge of containers: Docker, EKS, AKS, Kubernetes.
