About the role
- DevOps / Platform Engineer working with technologies in the automotive damage management system. Ensuring automated software operations and supporting development teams in their daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a highly automated software operation — from CI/CD pipelines to production operations
- Expand, maintain and further develop our platform based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern automation concepts
- Operate and enhance open-source technologies such as OpenSearch, Redis and RabbitMQ — both in the cloud and on-premises
- Support lifecycle and fleet management of around 1,000 virtual machines in a heterogeneous Windows/Linux environment
- Contribute to the build, operation and continuous improvement of Kubernetes clusters (cloud & data center)
- Advise and support development teams in daily operations and operational matters
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, an equivalent qualification or solid practical experience in a DevOps or infrastructure environment
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role and very strong knowledge of automation, CI/CD, cloud and container technologies
- Ideally, in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and/or AWS
- Structured, pragmatic working style with a strong team mindset and enjoyment of collaborative problem-solving (e.g., pair programming)
- Good German skills for daily teamwork and confident English skills for technical coordination
- Nice to have: programming or scripting skills in C#, Python or Golang
