About the role
- Security Manager protecting systems and shaping the future of security for cloud hosting at Contabo. Manage security tools, assess threats, and lead incident responses at a leading infrastructure service provider.
Responsibilities
- protect systems and actively shape the future of our security
- track down threats, minimize risks and stay calm when it matters
- manage and deploy existing and new security tools
- ensure our security landscape to stay one step ahead at all times
- continuously research emerging threats, analyze new attack vectors and translate insights into effective security measures
- take the lead in triaging security alerts or incidents, coordinating the response and minimizing impact
- help reduce risks across the entire business with technical controls, awareness and clear guidance
- support internal and external audits, ensure structure and transparency in processes
- keep the organization prepared for any compliance review
- guide projects and initiatives to ensure that security is a part of the company’s overall strategy
Requirements
- 5 Years or more in an operational security related role
- good knowledge of cloud operations
- a College Diploma or degree in a relevant field
- Industry experience in Cloud Hosting, MSP, Security Operation
- Knowledge in relevant MSP Security Toolings, SIEM and Vulnerability Management
- a willingness to travel occasionally
- fluent English skills
