Requirements
- Set technical direction across a Chapter, defining modern engineering standards (TypeScript, React/modern JS frameworks, GraphQL, Node.js/Express) and uplifting consistency across the stack.
- Lead full-stack, end-to-end delivery, owning solution design across the entire lifecycle from discovery and architecture through build, integration, testing, deployment, and production optimisation.
- Drive strategic technical uplift, partnering with Chapter leadership to modernise legacy systems, strengthen engineering practices, and accelerate adoption of emerging technologies.
- Architect intelligent, scalable systems, designing high-performance GraphQL APIs and resilient backend services alongside performant, accessible front-end experiences using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Champion engineering excellence, elevating code quality, security, observability, and CI/CD maturity while embedding robust governance and secure-by-design principles.
- Mentor and multiply capability across modern engineering practices, coaching teams in full-stack architecture, API design, and scalable system design to strengthen Chapter-wide expertise.
- Bring experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities into platforms responsibly and effectively, ensuring solutions are explainable, secure, and aligned to enterprise standards.
