- Hospice Director of Clinical Services overseeing interdisciplinary teams serving patients and families in various locations. Promoting Compassus values and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- The Hospice Director of Clinical Services - Floating is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation.
- Promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation.
- Upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments and external stakeholders.
- Providing Hospice Director of Clinical Services functions intermittently in assigned programs and traveling extensively as needed.
- Directing and managing the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in meeting the needs of the hospice patient and family.
- Communicating patient information to the business office and promoting positive working relationships with the family, physician, and other agencies.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare required, preferably in a nursing facility, home health or hospice setting.
- Experience in leadership or management strongly preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems a strong plus.
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Must have active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state(s) of employment, in addition to every state in the Region this role will be covering required.
