Responsibilities
- Conduct security analyses, risk assessments, and gap analyses
- Support the development, implementation, and optimization of security concepts and architectures
- Operate and enhance security technologies (e.g., IAM, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, cloud security tools)
- Participate in projects on topics such as Zero Trust, cloud security, security automation, or Identity & Access Management
- Advise clients on technical security matters and best practices
- Support security governance (policies, standards, awareness, compliance)
- Analyze and handle security incidents and coordinate incident response processes
- Work closely with IT, DevOps, architecture, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science, cybersecurity, IT security, or a comparable field; alternatively relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in at least two of the following areas: IT-Security Operations or Incident Response
- Network security
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Identity & Access Management
- Security architectures
- Vulnerability management / penetration testing
- Security governance & compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BSI)
- Confident use of common security tools (e.g., Splunk, Defender, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Okta, Elastic)
- Understanding of modern IT environments such as containers, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices
- Business fluent German and English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region
