About the role
- Senior Cloud Engineer designing Internal Developer Platform and contributing to GitOps tool development. Focusing on CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure to strengthen digital sovereignty.
Responsibilities
- Reliable operation, further development and scaling of the developer platform on a Kubernetes-based cloud/hosting infrastructure
- Develop forward-looking concepts and set standards in CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps and cloud infrastructures
- Discuss concepts and architectures and make well-founded technology decisions within the team
- Identify and resolve complex faults, optimize processes and improve the developer experience
- Support the team and customers through knowledge sharing and by identifying new application opportunities
Requirements
- Vocational training as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science, information management or a related field
- Several years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java/Groovy, Go, Bash or JavaScript
- Solid experience with CI/CD processes, with a focus on Jenkins
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform or OpenTofu
- Practical experience with a cloud provider (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure or AWS) or on-premises environments (e.g., OpenShift)
- Several years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of GitOps and routine proficiency in Linux environments
- Strong commitment to high-quality software development
- Self-organization and a proactive working style in a lean-agile setup
