About the role
- Legal leader responsible for managing all IP and legal operations for Clean Nutra, a fast-growing health brand. Overseeing trademark filings and handling contracts while embracing AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary in-house legal leader for Clean Nutra
- Handle core legal work and manage outsourced resources
- Own intake, triage, and management of legal matters
- Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications and responses
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
- Lead IP enforcement across various platforms
- Coordinate corporate and regulatory counsel
- Design AI-first workflows for legal document management
- Recruit, train and manage offshore paralegals
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 6+ years of post-J.D. experience in a legal role
- Hands-on experience managing U.S. trademark filings
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms
- Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets
- High level of comfort using AI tools and working with offshore teams
- Exceptional communication skills for translating legal risk
