• Operational leadership role managing loan documentation and processing teams at Citi. Focused on improving loan operations and developing effective processes and relationships.

Responsibilities

• manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process
• independently processing and closing loans within a complex loan operations environment
• integrates subject matter and industry expertise within the loan documentation area
• demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how the loan function collectively integrates to contribute to achieving overall business goals
• provides value-added perspective or advice
• applies in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues related to loan documentation processes
• responsible for escalating control gaps and issues to senior management
• identifies loan related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses
• resolves complex problems
• identifies opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce expenses
• influences decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization
• assumes informal/formal leadership role within the team
• involved in the coaching and training of new recruits
• creates, develops, and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients, and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5 - 8 years of experience
• Reasonable knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
• Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
• General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
• Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies
