About the role

• Mid-level Backend Developer working with Kotlin/Java on digital banking project. Involves complete development lifecycle and collaboration in a tech transformation environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
• Object-oriented languages, proficient in Java and Kotlin.
• Microservices architecture.
• Software development best practices, including TDD (Test-Driven Development), DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Agile practices/frameworks such as SCRUM or KANBAN.
• SQL databases.
• HTTP/HTTPS protocol.
• GIT and Git Flow.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team.
• Troubleshooting technical issues, such as bugs and incidents.
• Follow client-defined policies and processes.
• Write unit, functional, and performance tests following team guidelines.
• Instrument applications to collect performance data, operational logs, and metrics.

Requirements

• Experience with Spring Boot and/or Javalin.
• Knowledge of Kafka, SQS, and SNS.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming solutions.
• Experience with event-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Apigee and Node.js (server-side management and API management).
• Experience with AWS.
