Responsibilities
- Design and operate a cloud-based infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on IT security within the team
- Develop and maintain a monitoring system for early detection of security incidents in the cloud (e.g., SIEM, log analysis, incident response)
- Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and support penetration testing
- Administer, maintain, analyze, and monitor highly available cloud infrastructures
- Contribute to automating deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Ensure implementation of regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in cloud security with AWS
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., financial or energy sector)
- Proactive mindset, team player, and strong communication skills
- Business-fluent German language skills
