  • Ventilation Engineer at Northparkes Operations focused on safe and efficient underground ventilation. Supporting ventilation planning, monitoring, and compliance at a reputable mining operation.

Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in delivering safe, compliant and efficient underground ventilation across a complex, multi-method mining operation
  • Primarily focused on ventilation planning, monitoring and optimisation within the active SLC operations
  • Support broader underground development and future expansion studies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
  • Proven experience in underground hard rock mining, with hands-on ventilation exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of underground ventilation systems, survey requirements and statutory compliance
  • Advanced Mine design, planning and scheduling 3D software user, ventilation, and Production (Deswik, Surpac, VentSim)
  • NSW Manual Drivers Licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills, with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic production environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and site values
  • Manual driver’s licence and ability to work on a 5/2/4/3 roster
