About the role
- Entry level Software Engineer at Captivation Software developing and maintaining automated test suites with PyTest and Cypress. Collaborates on project requirements to ensure quality of web applications in a Linux environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks using PyTest and Cypress testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with mission stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify test automation opportunities to ensure the quality and reliability of a mission-focused enterprise web application in a Linux environment.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
- Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application development
- Experience with the Cypress testing framework
- Experience with the PyTest testing framework
- Experience with REST interfaces
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with Git Source Control System

- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
