About the role

• Philanthropic Operations Specialist providing project management and customer service support to donors and funders. Coordinates across teams including Grants Management, Finance, and Philanthropy in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management and customer service support to donors and funders across the Foundation.
• Coordinates across teams including Grants Management, Finance, Philanthropy and Programs.
• Provides administrative and project management support for engagement, cultivation, and stewardship of key constituents.
• Highly responsive to donor, funder, and other constituent requests.
• Manages programs in collaboration with multiple departments, ensuring stewardship and cultivation efforts are executed on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years related experience required, with a minimum of three years database (e.g Raiser’s Edge) and donor services experience.
• Strong knowledge of grantmaking processes and the nonprofit community in Los Angeles County.
• Minimum of three years’ experience with Blackbaud software and willingness to learn appropriate database, spreadsheet and other computer programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
