About the role
- Web Developer supporting design and development of secure web applications for mission systems. Works with customers and teams in a hybrid role combining remote and onsite work in Battle Creek, MI.
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of secure web-based applications supporting mission systems.
- Performs assigned software development tasks with minimal supervision and interfaces with customers and project teams to implement requirements.
- Applies established development standards and security controls while contributing to client/server application modernization and web interface development in compliance with government security and certification requirements.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and implement web-based and client/server software applications.
- Develop and maintain web pages and assist in porting legacy or client/server applications to web interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to software applications.
- Research, test, build, and integrate new software components or products based on client requirements.
- Assist management with feasibility analysis for potential future development efforts.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in scripting, software development, and web page design and development.
- Hands-on experience utilizing C#, .NET, HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache.
- Experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), DreamWeaver, FrontPage, or related web development tools.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Good customer relation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
- DoD 8570/8140 compliance with an approved baseline certification for Category IAT Level II roles supporting web development with administrative or privileged access.
