About the role
- Senior Data Engineer developing sustainable data solutions for various clients. Collaborating on cloud projects and utilizing modern data management technologies in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- You will develop sustainable data solutions, from requirements analysis through implementation and deployment
- You will support the development of modern, high-quality data platforms — on-premises and in clouds such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- You will work daily with modern data management technologies (for example Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric) and continuously expand your expertise in them
- You will implement ETL processes and optimize them for performance and scalability
- You will assist clients in developing complex processing pipelines and deploying data services/data products
- You will work closely with various stakeholders — in German and English
- You will take responsibility for the continuous improvement and automation of existing systems
Requirements
- You have hands-on experience implementing cloud data platform projects, e.g., with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
- You have worked with a variety of data management tools
- You have expertise in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python
- You are experienced working with CI/CD pipelines
- You enjoy continuous learning and are passionate about new technologies and trends
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills — in German and English.
