About the role
- Technology Lead developing Java applications for Broadridge, a global fintech leader. Building clean, scalable code and collaborating with teams for high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes
- Research and evaluate new software tools, utilities, and practices
- Collaborate with multiple technical/functional teams for effective resolution of problems
- Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products
- Direct development team in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
- Contribute to design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing existing product suite
- Take ownership of technical delivery against project timelines and requirements
- Mentor, support, and guide team members
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA / J2EE
- Strong expertise in developing RESTful or other APIs
- Experience in building micro services with Spring boot / Spring framework
- Strong experience in database technologies, particularly SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Knowledge on Snowflake or Postgres for managing data streams
- Experience on messaging framework – Kafka messaging system
- Experience in unit, integration, and performance testing, to ensure quality
- Exposure using GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins builds, Dockers
- Person should have worked in Agile Environment
