Responsibilities
Partner closely with Technology and Data leaders to support strong risk management practices across the division.
Promote a proactive risk culture, providing pragmatic advice, and helping teams understand and manage their risks.
Work across technology and data risk, supporting risk in change, control design, issues and incidents management, and regulatory obligations.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Group Risk (Line 2) and Internal Audit (Line 3) to strengthen the control environment and uplift Line 1 risk capability.
Involved early in change initiatives, helping shape controls during design, delivering meaningful risk insights, supporting governance forums, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the three lines of defence.
Requirements
Proven experience in Line 1 risk or a similar risk management role
Exposure to technology, data, cyber or related risk domains
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
Experience supporting risk in change, control design, issues and incidents management
A collaborative mindset and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
Qualifications in risk, technology or business are beneficial, and relevant professional certifications are viewed favourably
