Responsibilities
- Provide AWS architecture and hands-on technical leadership across infrastructure, application, and integration layers
- Perform hands-on AWS assessment and troubleshooting across core services
- Lead stabilization and modernization efforts including batch reliability, performance tuning, etc.
- Establish reliable patching and maintenance operating patterns
- Implement and mature observability practices using AWS-native capabilities
- Own and evolve infrastructure-as-code, environment standards, and deployment patterns
- Guide engineering teams on AWS-native services, reference architectures, and operational best practices
- Manage technical design and change implementation for CAPS integrations with enterprise systems
- Drive platform governance improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Technologies
- 5+ years of experience in AWS Services, e.g. VPC, IAM, EC2, etc.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and design
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Experience with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle
