About the role

Responsibilities
- Planning, architecting, and developing Shopify apps, plugins, and API integrations
- Full-stack development using modern technologies in the frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript)
- Integrating third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces
- Ensuring performance, code quality, and scalability
- Implementing responsive and accessible UI components
- Conducting code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E) and debugging
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and creating technical documentation
- Collaborating with Design, Product, and QA to build products from the ground up
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience
- Proficient with TypeScript, React (Next.js) and Node.js (Express)
- Comfortable with databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as Git, Docker and CI/CD workflows
- Strong knowledge of API design, security (OAuth) and performance optimization
- Ideally familiar with Polaris, Webhooks and GraphQL
- Structured, responsible work approach and fluent in German (plus good English)
