About the role
- Senior QA Engineer ensuring quality in software products for Binance's blockchain ecosystem. Collaborating with developers and partners to deliver automation and manual testing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and Partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality software products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute **Automation scripts**
- Hands-on **Manual investigation** and reproduction of functional** Backend (Java) software **issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
Requirements
- At least 7-8 years experience in software testing methodologies, both **Automation (*Must have) & Manual (General) **
- Strong ability to to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong ability to handle **Backend services** such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
- Familiar with Linux and database operation: Mysql, SQLServer, Oracle and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
- Good programming: **Master in Java coding (Must have) **
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
