About the role

• Finance Analyst managing financial closing processes and compliance with regulations. Collaborating with internal audits and ensuring data integrity for financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly and annual accounting close process, reviewing journal entries;
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents and reports;
• Ensure the integrity of data presented in the balance sheet, income statement (DRE) and other financial statements;
• Ensure compliance with tax, accounting and regulatory standards;
• Perform analyses of the company’s financial and economic performance, including profitability, margins, costs and expenses, and prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management;
• Support management with other ad hoc requests;
• Manage the company’s transfer/disbursement processes (repasses);
• Assist with internal controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering;
• Advanced Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus);
• Power BI knowledge is a plus (or willingness to learn);
• Experience with the Protheus system is a plus;
• Advanced English;
• Availability to attend the office on Mondays and Thursdays — Downtown Rio de Janeiro;
• Experience with financial institutions.
