Responsibilities
This is a full-time hybrid role located in the Amsterdam Area, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements.
As the Product & Manufacturing Test Engineering Lead, you will oversee the product and test strategies for manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading the development of testing methodologies, implementing process improvements, and resolving technical challenges.
You will also drive data analysis to refine testing procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
As a Prod & Mfg Test Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end testing strategies and test methods for connected products, physical products, hardware, or embedded systems.
You will lead teams that perform testing and validation at test benches and document results. Analyzing error logs and test results to provide design recommendations will be a key part of your role.
You are expected to drive continuous improvement through Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and provide design suggestions back to design teams.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience, possess influencing and advisory skills, and be responsible for team decisions.
Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions will be essential, as will providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
Master proficiency in Product Testing is required.
Master proficiency in Program Project Management is recommended. Beginner proficiency in Continuous Improvement Techniques and Master proficiency in Stakeholder Management are suggested.
