About the role
- Financial Controller managing all aspects of financial management including reporting and budgeting for Bellows Plumbing. Requiring extensive experience in accounting procedures and financial statements management.
Responsibilities
- Review and organize the entire stack of company's accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, GL and Counsel
- Review existing technical accounting issues and develop measures to optimize them
- Create and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls
- Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and prepare reports on the results
- Oversee company's month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Create timely monthly financial statements and present them to company's executives and top managers
- Ensure the compliance with state reporting requirements, applicable laws and tax filings
- Payroll functions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5 years' experience of working as a Finance Manager or Controller position
- 10 years' experience with accounting procedures and principles
- Significant experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year end close process and financial statements management
- Good knowledge of accounting software and QuickBooks.
- Should have strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace and tech ability in paperless environment.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
