About the role
- Accountant managing billing and payment processes for Finance at bekumoo. Ensuring smooth operation of accounting tasks and collaboration with management and tax consultants.
Responsibilities
- Management of SEPA mandates and preparation of direct debit collections
- Creation and setup of invoices and recurring invoices
- Reconciliation of payments and maintenance of payer lists
- Review, allocation, and preparation of supporting documents (bank statements, credit card statements)
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
- Preparation of the month-end close (all documents by the 10th of the following month)
- Close collaboration with our tax advisor
- Review and implementation of new tools (e.g., DATEV)
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or relevant professional experience in finance or accounting
- Structured, reliable, and meticulous working style
- Confident use of common software tools (e.g., MS Office, DATEV, possibly Pleo)
- Enjoy working with numbers and processes and have an eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Independent, solution-oriented approach to work
