Demand Planner Associate responsible for developing demand forecasts at Beauty Industry Group. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and support business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts across multiple brands, incorporating historical data, seasonality, promotional activity, and market trends
Partner with Commercial, eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Demand Planning teams to align forecasts with business objectives and growth initiatives
Champion and advocate for Commercial teams with demand forecasting to support core/evergreen, healthy product mix, new product innovation, and activations within marketing calendars.
Review and analyze promotional and product launch performance, adjusting forecasts and recommendations based on insights and evolving demand patterns
Identify risks and opportunities related to inventory levels, proactively recommending actions to optimize stock, reduce excess, and minimize stockouts
Support product lifecycle management through forecast updates tied to new launches, phase-outs, and replenishment strategies
Ensure our demand forecasts with Supply Chain intersect with our demand net sales forecasts across sales channels and in sync with go to market calendars
Advise and track areas to ensure optimal sell thru rates, buy ins, run down and sku productivity across all sales channels
Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform forward-looking demand assumptions
Build and provide clear reporting and actionable insights to leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making
Ability to leverage data to inform optimization, prioritization and turn insights into actionable deliverables
Experience tracking scorecards for forecast accuracy, sku productivity, sell thru and improvements against excess and obsolete
Requirements
3-5 years of hands-on Commercial Planning & Forecasting experience.
Excellent knowledge and experience with Netstock, NetSuite, Excel, and Tableau.
Proactive self-starter who excels at uncovering data-driven insights and turning them into meaningful business impact.
Ability to assess business impact of new innovations, core and evergreen, campaigns, and activations.
Confident in working across multiple departments and managing multiple projects.
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work across time zones as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Base pay of $75,000-85,000 with a 5% annual bonus eligibility
