Responsibilities
Plan the Availability of the Royal Navy’s Submarines
Help optimise through life maintenance plans for the Royal Navy’s in-service submarines
Analyse complex data, balance maintenance requirements against operational programmes
Collaborate with subject matter experts across Babcock, the Ministry of Defence and industry partners
Support programme changes and “what if” scenarios to keep submarines safe, capable and available
Use a dedicated asset management tool to manage maintenance requirements through life.
Contribute to the development of the through life boat plan application alongside the team.
Requirements
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND with demonstrable relevant experience
Engineering experience with a solid understanding of maintenance requirements and planning
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels
Ability to produce clear technical reports and identify improvement opportunities
Commitment to continuous professional development
Strong IT skills and experience analysing data in Excel or similar tools
Security Clearance - must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
