Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Team Coaches, Specialists and Engineers delivering Legionella safety across the Clyde estate.
Oversee all Legionella management activities within your allocated area (e.g., Faslane or Coulport).
Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to implement and enhance the Asset Management Strategy.
Ensure work is effectively programmed to prevent asset failure and maintain operational readiness.
Provide coaching, guidance and support to ensure business objectives and customer expectations are met.
Requirements
Extensive experience in Legionella management.
Knowledge of engineering standards, including SFG20 for Planned Preventive Maintenance.
Understanding of asset management practices and standards such as ISO 55001.
Experience working with Safe Systems of Work and relevant Health, Safety & Environment legislation.
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across multiple organisations (e.g., Royal Navy, Royal Marines, MOD, Babcock).
Relevant engineering or water safety qualifications (as per Legionella management requirements).
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
