About the role
- Accounting Manager responsible for month-end financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple entities. Collaborating with teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close checklist end-to-end
- Oversee the full accounting close cycle each month
- Manage preparation and distribution of periodic internal financial statements
- Support the Controller in preparing external audit deliverables
- Manage the accounting for company inventory and fixed assets
- Partner with the Corporate Controller and IT Systems Analyst on process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Canadian CPA designation (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA; or CPA, CGA) required
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity consolidations
- Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or hardware+SaaS environment
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or ASPE
- Advanced Excel and data management skills
- Track record of running a structured, documented close process
- Clear and confident communicator
