About the role
- DevOps Engineering Intern at ASSA ABLOY working on cloud technologies and automation. Building infrastructure on AWS and contributing to CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building, maintaining, and improving cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with occasional work in Google Cloud
- Support the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and testing
- Help implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as AWS CloudFormation
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improving reliability and scalability
- Participate in security best practices, including identity management, access control, and cloud resource governance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive and positive attitude
