About the role
- Stage de recherche sur la résilience des ports maritimes au sein d'Artimon Perspectives. Analyser les impacts climatiques sur les infrastructures et contribuer à une thèse CIFRE.
Responsibilities
- Develop a theoretical framework drawing on transaction cost theory and the economics of infrastructure investment.
- Conduct an in-depth literature review on port resilience, infrastructure governance, and public–private partnerships in the context of climate risk.
- Conduct comparative analyses of governance and investment models for ports exposed to extreme climate events (France and internationally).
- Contribute to the formulation of research questions, hypotheses and methodological choices for the forthcoming CIFRE PhD thesis.
- Participate in producing research briefs, outreach articles and internal materials for Artimon teams and partners.
Requirements
- Strong theoretical and conceptual analytical skills
- Interest in academic research and long-term issues
- Excellent writing skills (French and English)
- Proficiency with bibliographic and literature-search tools
- Strong interest in climate-related challenges, infrastructure governance and investment policy
- Autonomy, methodological rigor and intellectual curiosity
- Prior research experience (thesis, article, internship) is strongly preferred.
