About the role
- Project Manager leading planning, execution, and delivery of insurance projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize and maintain PMO/IS project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) to manage projects through their full lifecycle.
- Partners with cross-functional teams, business units, and vendors to deliver insurance programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop and refine project management templates, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Lead project meetings, set goals and milestones, track progress, and resolve blockers to keep initiatives on track.
- Monitor and report project performance, ensuring objectives, success metrics, and compliance requirements are met.
- Analyze and improve development, testing, and release processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as relationship manager with IS/IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to align priorities and achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- Project Management experience and/or training, minimum 2-3 years
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred
- Certificate of Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma Certifications preferred
