About the role

  • Project Manager leading planning, execution, and delivery of insurance projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize and maintain PMO/IS project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) to manage projects through their full lifecycle.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams, business units, and vendors to deliver insurance programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop and refine project management templates, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Lead project meetings, set goals and milestones, track progress, and resolve blockers to keep initiatives on track.
  • Monitor and report project performance, ensuring objectives, success metrics, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Analyze and improve development, testing, and release processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as relationship manager with IS/IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to align priorities and achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • Project Management experience and/or training, minimum 2-3 years
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred
  • Certificate of Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Lean / Six Sigma Certifications preferred
