About the role
- Systems Engineer developing and maintaining architecture for missile warning systems. Collaborating with engineering teams to improve network performance at Apogee Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in the identification, evaluation, preparation and maintenance of architecture, to include networks
- Support the definition, planning, organization, network engineering and opportunity management efforts across executing SEWS Task Orders
- Assess and manage resources in projects and project activities for Space Systems Command SEWS Program Office
- Participate in all engineering activities required to deliver mission-critical infrastructure and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security for SEW data delivery
- Support engineering efforts in all aspects of networking activities to include resources, configuration management, changes in networks and information systems as needed
- Review and collaborate on engineering changes and coordinate with change owners and technical leads
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- High school diploma
- 10 or more years of experience in Missile Warning/Command and Control Systems
- Network Engineering Background
- Product Life-cycle Management tool experience - prefer ARAS tool familiarization
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) - Policy, procedures, and systems architecture
- Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales Experience to include ITAR policy
- Familiarity with interface control documentation
