About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the CDL Program.
- Actively participate in curriculum development, revision, and implementation process.
- Provide product knowledge training to the Account management group.
- Engage with potential students and participate in new student orientation.
- Hire, assign, orient, develop, evaluate, and recognize Driver Trainers.
- Convene meetings with faculty.
- Monitor and support the student population within the program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Industry certification in the field of instruction if required by industry.
- 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
- 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
- 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver /Driver Trainer.
- Knowledge regarding faculty development.
- Motivation, dedication, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Ability to show sensitivity to the needs and requirements of adult learners.
- Knowledge of industry standards and requirements within the field of instruction.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and database programs.
