About the role
- Senior Automation Engineer designing and implementing automation systems for agro-industrial applications. Leading technical projects and ensuring integration of equipment and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement automation systems in agricultural facilities.
- Program PLCs, HMIs and supervisory systems (SCADA).
- Perform diagnostics, testing, commissioning and start-up of equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation, flow diagrams and specifications.
- Ensure integration between field devices and control systems.
- Support the maintenance team in failure analysis and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership on automation projects with suppliers and partners.
Requirements
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Control and Automation, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Senior-level experience in industrial automation, preferably in agro-industrial environments.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Schneider or similar).
- Experience with industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus or equivalents).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs.
- Knowledge of Italian at a level that allows technical communication.
