About the role
- Design Internship at our Milan Office specializing in Fashion and Knitwear. Supporting design development and research in a dynamic studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in research, mood boards, and seasonal inspiration
- Support design development through sketches and CADs
- Assist with sample development and fittings
- Organize garments, fabrics, and studio materials
- Help develop tech packs and technical drawings for prototypes
- Assist with development of swatch technical packs for seasonal knit fabrications
- Assist during fittings, take notes, and track design adjustments
- Research fabrics, techniques, and finishing methods
- Research seasonal yarns and knit stitches/ techniques
- Assist with lookbook or photoshoot preparation
- Help create presentation decks, line plans & general boards creation
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Knitwear or Textiles Knit
- Strong interest in contemporary menswear / womenswear
- Strong knowledge of knitwear/ knitted textiles, and knit fabric constructions
- Good organization and attention to detail
- Organized, proactive, and able to work in a studio environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign / ProCreate
- Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English
