Cloud Engineer responsible for Azure and M365 environments at a dynamic company. Involved in cloud security and operational management in a green technology sector.
Responsibilities
Operational management and further development of our Azure landing zone and core infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces
Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM)
Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps)
Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close collaboration with our external security partner
Automation with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
Support in the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune
Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists
Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and expertise
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with M365 services
Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams
Willingness to learn new topics independently and continuously expand your knowledge
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners
Excellent German and good English skills
